Who We Are
We develop, build, finance, and operate solar plants — and increasingly, we improve the ones already built.
SRA Solar is a renewable energy developer, investor, and EPC contractor, headquartered in Singapore with offices in Tokyo, Valencia, Manila, and Lisbon. The company was founded in 2012 as the Asian platform of the saferay group, a Berlin-based renewable energy investor with in-house EPC and O&M capabilities. In 2020 it was spun off as an independent business and rebranded SRA Solar, carrying the team and its track record into new markets — the Philippines, Spain, and Portugal — while continuing to build in Japan. Beyond development and utility-scale EPC, SRA Solar today also focuses on targeted commercial and industrial projects, battery storage, repairs, optimization, and plant management. Since 2012 the team has delivered more than 420 MWp of solar capacity and today manages 57 MWp under O&M and asset management contracts in Spain and Japan.

Our Mission
To build and maintain solar plants that perform reliably across their full operating life. We compete on execution: pricing we can stand behind, schedules we meet, and engineering that does not need revisiting once the contractor has left site. That applies equally to plants we build from scratch and to plants we take over, repower, or hybridize.
Our Values
We work through local partners rather than parachuting into a market. We price what we can deliver. We design for a thirty-year asset rather than for the day of handover. And we keep the structure lean, so decisions stay close to the people doing the work.
Key Focus Areas
Utility-Scale PV, C&I, and Storage
We build high-voltage and super-high-voltage photovoltaic plants, targeted commercial and industrial projects, and battery energy storage — both standalone and added to solar plants already in operation.
Lean Execution
A small, senior team. Low overhead means competitive pricing and direct access to the people making decisions on your project — not an account manager relaying questions to an engineer.

Our Leadership
Fausto González-Taveras
Managing Director, Finance and Business Development / Founding Partner
Fausto leads SRA Solar’s finance function and its entry into new markets. He was previously Director of Development and Financing at saferay Holding, overseeing more than 220 MWp of PV projects in Japan and Spain, and before that a Vice President at Goldman Sachs, working in commodities structuring and investment banking across the energy, industrials, and aviation sectors.
José Lisardo
Managing Director, Technology and Construction / Founding Partner
José has spent more than fifteen years in solar. He was Vice President at Phoenix Solar, where he led engineering, vendor qualification, and new technology integration, and Head of Engineering at juwi, running engineering across Southeast Asia with team and budget responsibility.
Victor Sánchez
Director, Business Development
Victor leads SRA Solar’s growth in Europe. He was previously Country Manager in Japan and Business Development Manager for Europe and Latin America at an international EPC contractor, with earlier experience in the UK and Latin American PV markets, and a background in consultancy and oil and gas.
